Nebulizer Use
Nebulizer device is used with a mask or mouthpiece.
In cases where a mask is used, the mask used should fit the face completely so that the drug vapor does not come into contact with the eyes.
In the use of nebulizer, the drug inhalation time should be a maximum of 10-15 minutes. Inhalation can be done intermittently.
During inhalation, contact of the drug vapor with the eyes should be avoided. During inhalation, the eyes can be closed to prevent any negative situation. If you experience redness of the eye, feeling of pain or blurred vision, discontinue the treatment and consult your doctor.
Nebulizer Cleaning Process
- The device should be cleaned of drug residues and mucus after each use.
- After each use, keep the parts of the device suitable for washing in water with detergent for 15-20 minutes. The nebulizer main unit, air tubing and power cord are not suitable for washing. You can wipe these parts with a clean damp cloth.
- Do not wash or clean the air filter. You can replace the filter with a new one if it is not clean or gets wet. It is generally recommended to change the filter of the device every two months.
- Rinse the parts you have kept in detergent water with clean water. Wipe off excess water and let dry.
- Follow the instructions in the user manual for more detailed cleaning and disinfection of the device you are using.
